Learning about Truth, Life, and the Gospel, D.Y. It was really the Lord's mercy to bring me to the Full-Time Training in Anaheim (FTTA) and allow me to complete the full two years. This training provided so many opportunities for me to gain Christ and for Him to gain me. I have learned a lot from the five main areas of training: life, truth, service, gospel and character. Many of the classes have revealed the truth in God's Word and this truth has set me free from my own concepts (John 8:32). For example, today, by contacting the Lord in my spirit I can eat the tree of life and drink the river of water of life (2 Timothy 4:22; John 6:35; 7:37-38). This is just one of the many truths that have been opened to me with the help of the ministry of Witness Lee and Watchman Nee. Concerning the matter of life, I need many foundational, crucial experiences to help the divine life in me to grow unto maturity. God's life has been sown into me as a seed, however I need the proper cultivation for this life to grow and bear fruit (1 Corinthians 3:6-7). I have learned that I must spend time with the Lord in His Word every morning. This is where He can shine within my being so His life can come in and grow in me (John 1:4-5). One way I read the Word is prayerfully, making the Word part of my prayer to the Lord (Ephesians 6:17-18b). Another aspect I really appreciate is the matter of the gospel. God really desires all men to be saved and come to the full knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4). However, He needs me to go forth to proclaim Him and His words so faith can be infused into people (Romans 10:14-17). God's desire is to make sinners into full-grown and mature sons of God, but that requires a lot of shepherding and nourishing (Romans 5:19; Galatians 3:26). I really need the Spirit to discern the believers' condition and how to minister to their need. I also have enjoyed sharing with people the highest goal of the gospel, the New Jerusalem. I have been impressed that for the gospel to prevail much prayer is required. Without prayer all my efforts don't have a lasting effect. I have also realized, that I need to be one with the Lord to speak to people. In retrospect the experiences I've gained in the Training are priceless and I am happy to have given two years to the Lord for the Training. Main | History | Testimonies | Links Copyright © 2002.
